Kids from 9 Bulgarian towns will be able to enjoy the free puppet show “A Tale of Brave Little Empty-Bellied Heroes” in the month of May. The spring tour of the Fairy Tale Theatre-Sofia is initiated by ECOPACK Bulgaria and takes place in partnership with the municipalities of Botevgrad, Svoge, Tutrakan, Pleven, Pravets, Panagyurishte, Teteven, Peshtera, and Strelcha.

The children from kindergartens and early school grades will step into the shoes of saviours of the planet who, together with the well-liked characters Hartoyad (Paper Eater), Plastoyadka (Plastic Eater) and Stukloyad (Glass Eater), will learn how to separate waste by type and to dispose of it in the right color-coded container. They will also find how people can help nature with their actions.

After the show, the children will enjoy games and dancing. Admission is free and everyone will leave with a gift – a comic book with games.

The educational show tells the story of three little cute animal characters who live in the park and feed on different kinds of waste.

The characters are featured in the Feed Me Separately! Campaign and are well-known from the ECOPACK color-coded containers.

The puppet show has been touring the country for five consecutive years. Over this period, the actors from the Fairy Tale Theatre have taught over 5,000 children aged 4-8 about recycling.
