An official award ceremony on Friday, June 7th, in Sofia marked the 9th edition of the prestigious competition Greenest Companies in Bulgaria for 2019. This national competition is organized by b2b Media and distinguishes responsible and environmentally-friendly businesses, municipalities, nongovernmental organizations, and personalities. This year the competition included some new categories, such as green office, green innovation, project, or idea.

ECOPACK BULGARIA was awarded with two prizes by the prestigious jury:

1st place in the Recycling industry and waste management category;

2nd place in the Education category, for the creation of the first-of-its-kind in Bulgaria Educational Center for Separate Waste Collection and Recycling.

The goal of this unique center in this country is to provide free education for the young generations about the benefits of separate collection and recycling, as well as about the importance of this activity for the protection of the environment from modern threats.
